-CE, -VE, and -SE
This lesson consists of words that can be categorized according to endings with a final -e. Words ending in -ce have an /s/ sound. Words ending in -ve have a /v/ sound. (All words in the English language ending in "v" also have a final e.) Words in this sort ending in -se have a /z/ sound. Note: Some of the words are homophones, sounding exactly the same but having different spellings and meanings.
