LONG VOWEL BLENDS AI, OA EE, EA

This lesson consists of words that have long vowel sounds due to two vowels put next to each other (vowel blends).  The first vowel of each blend says its own name.

Sort words having the long /a/ sound using ai like "wait" under AI.

Sort words having the long /o/ sound using oa like "toast" under OA.

Sort words having the long /e/ sound using ee like "need" under EE.

Sort words having the long /e/ sound using ea like "beast" under EA.

Sort words that don't have a long vowel sound under Odballs.
