SHORT and LONG /o/

This lesson consists of words that have short and long /o/ sounds using three different spelling patterns.

Sort words having a short /o/ sound with a CVC pattern like "lost" under CVC.

Sort words having a long /o/ sound using a silent e CVC-e pattern like "drove" under CVC-e.

Sort words having a long /o/ sound with a CVVC pattern like "road" under CVVC.

Sort words not fitting any of these patterns under Oddballs.
