UNACCENTED FINAL SYLLEBLE (-LE)


This lesson consists of words that accent the 1st syllable but have three different spelling patterns.  The 1st pattern is VC+le.  The 2nd pattern is VCC+le (using doublets - same middle consonants).  The 3rd pattern is VCC+le (not using doublets for the middle consonants).

Sort words that follow the VC+le pattern like "title" under VC+le.

Sort words that follow the VCC+le pattern (and has doublets) like "little" under VCC+le doublets.

Sort words that follow the VCC+le pattern (and has different middle consonants) like "simple" under VCC+le different.
